Solid Waste Sorting Resource: Beed help sorting your discarded materials? Recycle Coach can help.
Collection Hours: Collection service can happen between 6 am and 6 pm. While it’s usually around the same time each week, it can vary, so make sure to have your carts at the curb by 6 am.

Placement for Service: Please have your carts at the curb by 6 am on your service day to avoid being missed. Place carts at least two feet apart from each other and vehicles to allow space for the truck’s arm to grab the cart for service. If your carts go out after service has already happened on your street, WM is not required to return to service them.
Backyard Collection Service: If you require assistance in moving your carts to and from the curb for service, backyard collection service is available. This service is offered at no additional charge for residents who have a medical exemption and no able-bodied adults living in their homes to handle the carts.
To request free backyard services or to ask additional questions, please send an email to info@oroloma.org.
If you don’t qualify for the no-charge service, you can subscribe for a fee. To request backyard collection service, please contact WM.
Please note, if your recycle cart has Tri-CED stamped on it, in addition to calling WM, you must also contact Tri-CED at (510) 537-9963 to request backyard service for your recycle cart.
Prepaid Service for Extra Trash: Got more trash than your cart can handle, maybe after a big celebration? No problem! Prepaid service labels are available for purchase. These labels can be used on plastic bags up to 35 gallons. To request prepaid extra trash labels, please contact WM.
Missed Service: If your trash, recycle, or organics were not collected, let WM know right away. But remember, service isn’t considered missed, if it’s still your service day and before 6pm. Please note, if your recycle was missed and your cart has Tri-CED stamped on it, you must contact Tri-CED at (510) 537-9963.

Collection Service Hours: Collection service can happen between 4am and 7pm. While it usually occurs around the same time each week, it can vary, so make sure to have your collection containers ready for service by 4am. Please note, for multi-family properties with bin service or businesses within 200 feet of a residential property, service will not happen before 6am or after 6pm.
Service Area: The location of the collection containers will be determined and agreed upon by WM and you. The area around the collection containers should be clean and free of debris on the ground to maintain a neat appearance and ensure it does not interfere with the collection service.
Secure Containers: Businesses must ensure that their collection containers are secured to prevent public rummaging, usage, or mining of discarded materials. For those with cart service, the cart should be tethered to a wall or gate, or stored in an area that is not accessible to the public.
