Oro Loma and Alameda County are partnering for a free Household Hazardous Waste collection event in San Lorenzo on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Accepted Items:

  • Electronics and small appliances
  • Batteries
  • Fluorescent bulbs
  • Paints
  • Pest and garden products
  • All auto fluids
  • Propane
  • Cleaners
  • Medicines
  • Sharps (needles) in a sharps container
  • Asbestos

Items NOT Accepted at the Event:

  • Treated wood and railroad ties:

  • Radioactives
  • Explosives
  • Compressed gas cylinders (other than propane)

  • Flares
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Smoke detectors
    • Accepted at HHW facilities.
